Gosaikunda lake Nepal


     Gosaikunda  lake is very  faimous  lake in Nepal's Langtang Nationl Park. Which located in Rasuwa District of Nepal. The  lake melts and ships down to from the Trishuli River. It remain frozen for six months in winter. There are 108 other lakes around this lake small to medium in size.
   According to Hindu mythology attributes it is the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Gauri. The Hindu scriptures Bhagavat puran and Bishnu puran and the Hindu ecips Mahavarat and Rammayana refer to samundra manthan, which is directly releted to origin of Gosaikunda. It's holy waters is considered of particular significance during Gangadashdhara and the sacred thread festival Janai Purnima when thousend of pilgrims from Nepal and India visit the area.
